Ann is a part time V1th Form College German ‘A’ level teacher and a part time Yoga teacher. She qualified as a British Wheel of Yoga Teacher 10 years ago, but have been practising Yoga for at least 20 years. After a severe injury to her back and neck in 1996, yoga primarily helped her to recover. During this period she received one to one yoga tuition from an Iyengar teacher and this way of practising has remained with her. Her daily practice of meditation informs her teaching of yoga. She believes in taking time over doing a pose and in the efficacy of the supported, restorative poses. In teaching the poses, accuracy and alignment are important to her. She believes that yoga helps both body and mind and that today with the stresses and strains of life it can be a refreshing antidote.

I always had the feeling that one day, I would find my way to yoga. Perhaps it was the seed laid by a teacher in a little class in infant school, or an even deeper, earlier call.
In the first class of Kundalini yoga I ever went to, I knew I had found the yoga for me and I have not looked back. I have gone on to train in this most extraordinary yoga with Amrit Nam Samovar school, ending with an Immersion Week in the French Alps that truly changed my life. I am KRI certificated to teach.
I look forward to welcoming people to share in this profoundly joyous and wholistic “technology of wellness” that is Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan.
